This After Hours session explores the business of being an artist, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how creative projects are planned and delivered at Modern Art Oxford. Discover the practical skills that underpin exhibitions and public programmes, from budgets and contracts to risk management, and gain insight into the day-to-day realities of working in the contemporary arts.
Our guest speaker, Holly Broughton, Curator for Communities, Practice & Participation (CPP) at Modern Art Oxford, will share her experience of developing exhibitions, artist commissions and community partnerships, alongside practical advice on building a sustainable career in the arts.
