Following a £2million, 5-month building project, Modern Art Oxford has reopened. Inside, you’ll find our reimagined galleries, Shop, Café and Studio.

Ground Floor Gallery

We’ve got an all-new gallery on our ground floor, that’s focused on putting you and your community at the centre of our programming with exciting exhibitions co-created by artists and local people.

Café

Feed your creativity and step inside an immersive artwork to ‘Club Together’ and share a meal, or a coffee and cake in our new Café, designed by acclaimed British artist Emma Hart. Enjoy an immersive experience with colour, light and shadow alongside delicious food made using local ingredients.

Shop and Welcome Area

Drop in to pick up gifts, relax and meet on our comfortable sofas, and discover highlights from our archive in the brand new display cases and interactive digital screens.

Studio

Sensory play, creative activities, adult evening classes and so much more! Create your own artwork, express yourself and develop your skills. The Studio is your space to experiment and create, with workshops, evening classes and so much more from our dedicated team.
