Join our free Thursday evening Young Creatives Socials for ages 16-18, where you can connect with other young people, work with professional artists, and discover your own creativity in a relaxed, fun environment.
Thursdays, 4–6 pm, from the 7 November 2024 – 6 February 2025.

What to Expect
Our Thursday Socials are part of Modern Art Oxford’s artist-led projects for young people. These weekly sessions are perfect for developing your creative practice, building a portfolio, and exploring creative career paths.
You’ll get to work with professional artists, collaborate with other young creatives in Oxfordshire, and discover your artistic voice. No previous art experience is needed—just bring an open mind!

- Studio Sessions: Expand your artistic practice, learn new skills, and create collaborative artworks.
- Exhibition Visits: Visit our exhibitions and explore their key themes and materials.
- Portfolio Building: Get advice on building and showcasing your portfolio. Learn how to talk and write about your work.
- Careers: Meet the Modern Art Oxford team and explore education and career opportunities in the arts.

- Snacks and refreshments are provided at every session.
- We can cover local travel costs up to £4 per session—just bring your ticket.
