Join our free Thursday evening Young Creatives Socials for ages 16-19, where you can connect with other young people, work with professional artists and discover your own creativity in a relaxed, fun environment.

In this session:

Experiment with monoprinting as a way to reinterpret personal and collective archives. We will reuse copies of the translated images from last week’s workshop, alongside brought objects, to explore different methods of image-making with monoprinting.

  • Learn the technique: Experiment with the unique process of monoprinting.
  • Re-use and transform: Work with copies of images from last week’s workshop.
  • Incorporate objects: Bring items to inspire new prints.
  • Explore memory: Create layered prints that reflect history, storytelling, and reinterpretation.

In our Young Creatives sessions, you’ll get to work with professional artists, collaborate with other young creatives in Oxfordshire, and discover your artistic voice. No previous art experience is needed – just bring an open mind! Come whenever you can, you don’t need to attend every session. Just sign up using the button above.
