Early Years: Make Play | Spring 2022

Our Make Play sessions offer a sensory creative space for children aged between 6 months and 5 years, to explore with their parent and/or carer.

Drawing on materials and themes within our exhibition Jesse Darling: No Medals No Ribbons, each session offers different experimental activities.

Thursdays 31 March, 7, 14, 21 and 28 April, 11am–12pm and 1–2pm

£4.50 per session, booking essential.

Please note: One ticket admits one child and one parent/carer. To ensure all our visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience, we are monitoring numbers in the building, so if you are one adult with more than one child you will need to book multiple tickets.

If you would like to attend a Make Play session and are concerned about accessibility, please get in touch with us:

You may notice that our prices have changed for Make Play sessions, for the first time since 2017. Modern Art Oxford is a non-profit charity organisation, and this price change is in response to rising costs and the challenges of the pandemic. We are committed to maintaining the high level of inspiring programmes for children and families available at the gallery. As ever, we offer free tickets to Make Play workshops for those not in a position to pay, just get in touch at
