Finding June: A Photographer’s Remarkable Discovery

When artist and photographer Tony Lorenzo bought 5 random old photographs from a flea market in London he could not have expected the result. Realising that 2 of the 5 photographs were pictures of the same family, he became interested in their story.

Continuing to return to the flea market stall in search of more photographs of the family, his collection grew. From the first 2 photographs he ended up with 67, all documenting the life of the same girl – June.

This film follows Tony’s remarkable discoveries as he set out to reunite a series of old photographs with the story of the little girl pictured in them. Not only would he learn much about her life, but, in discovering June, he found he would discover part of himself too.
