In May 2018 were thrilled to welcome the artist Rachel Whiteread CBE to Modern Art Oxford for a special evening hosted by The Edgar Wind Society (EWS), Oxford University’s Society for History of Art.
Fresh from her critically acclaimed solo exhibition at Tate Britain, and 25 years since she became the first ever female Turner Prize winner, Whiteread accepted the 2018 Honorary Membership of the Edgar Wind Society for Outstanding Contribution to Visual Culture.
